Auto Mechanic Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our fast-growing company. This individual will be a part of our mobile mechanic team. This individual will be responsible for diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance on our customers fleet vehicles. A strong candidate will have the knowledge to perform routine maintenance on both, gas, and diesel engines.

Candidates with more than one year of mechanic experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service, so you must be friendly and passionate about giving our customers the best repair experience possible.

Auto Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

·         Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels.

·         Repair or replace worn parts and systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors.

·         Identify mechanical and electrical problems.

·         Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately.

Auto Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications

·         Must have a valid driver’s license.

·         Mechanical Experience.

·         Excellent diagnostic skills preferred.

·         Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.

·         ASE certification a plus.

·         Basic computer skills.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

·         Willingness to learn and follow our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.

·         Must own and provide their own tools.

·         Be available to work Monday thru Friday 3PM to 12AM

Fleet Force technicians perform all maintenance on site at our customers place of business after hours. The technician’s shift is from 3pm to 12am Monday thru Friday. Our technicians are provided with a custom mobile maintenance vehicle with air compressor and electric generator. Technicians are required to own and provide their own tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 – $63,000.00+ per year
